The beauty of changing season: from late summer to autumn.

Hello Folks! Autumn is here!

In this post I want to share my recent photography between the last two seasons, from pale colours, purple and blue, to the warm autumnal shades of orange, dark red and yellow.

I enjoy all the changes in the nature’s world: little signs of autumn all around, the days are getting darker and slower, yellow leaves swirling in the wind, glossy red berries, acorns and beautiful mushrooms everywhere and cosy evenings in front of the fire while wrapped up in soft knitwear.

The early sign of autumn was a precious time to let everything go.

It is time to appreciate the loveliness and changing colours of flower's leaves.

Autumn is an official sign that the flower bloom cycles will start to slow down, however you can still see beautiful seasonal flowers and their vibrant scents make everything so cosier.

From late summer, you will find Cosmos, Sedum, Japanese anemones, Clerodendron, Dahlia, Verbena bonariensis, Hydrangea, Helenium, Asters to then move on the autumnal blooms like Roses, Persicarias, Michaelmas daisies, some varieties of Geraniums, Kniphofias, Hesperantha, Alstromeria and more marvellous flowers.

Here some of my flowers and plants photos taken throught the stunning garden where I work and my long wallks.

AUTUMN

from The Girls'Book of Flowers Fairies

Cicely M.Barker

‘With the onset of autumn comes a dramatic change.

As leave fall from the trees, woods are coloured golden brown.

The bright flowers of summer are replaced by shiny brown nuts and dark berries.

Now the autumn fairies emerge into the golden light,

unfurling their wings in the cool damp air.’
